Family Entertainment Centres (FECs)

The design and build of family entertainment centres forms a large part of our turnover and history. Since 1978, we have developed the individual elements and complete FECs all over the Middle East, in Europe and USA.

The core of our business has been in the design and build of entertainment zones and attractions and this will continue to be a growth area as we seek to develop this expertise into new areas. Whilst FECs continue to develop and become more inventive, Select Contracts will ensure that it stays on the cutting edge of developments. Our future direction will include providing leisure and entertainment solutions to developers of shopping malls, stadia, airports, city centres and integrated residential developments.

Theme Parks

We are developing theme parks across the world and will continue to grow this area of the business through continued innovation and attention to market trends and requirements.

Outdoor and indoor theme parks bring a world of adventure, thrills and excitement to the destination. The very essence of a theme park is to let the imagination go wild and our imagineers and designers are some of the best in the business!

Theme parks attempt to create an atmosphere of another place and time, and usually emphasize one dominant theme around which the architecture, landscape, rides, shows, food services, costumed personnel and retailing are all orchestrated. The type of themes used in theme parks include historical periods, fairy tails, animals, water, marine and futuristic worlds.

Our experience in this area is complemented by our excellent track record in other entertainment arenas, especially in the FEC market place. Our 31 years of accomplishment leads us to being able to provide individual or a complete Turnkey Solutions (Design;Build:Operate) in modern theme parks.

Snow and Ice Facilities

Select Contracts have an excellent track record in the development of indoor and outdoor snow and ice-based facilities, from small snow play areas and ice rinks to permanent snow and ice themeparks. Whether the client requires a temporary facility or a fully developed project, we have the experience and the know how to create a perfect winter wonderland.

Select Contracts has played a major part in the development of small and large indoor snow play areas and integrated snow destinations for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Either through our part in the development of snow technologies or in the usage of snow and ice themed indoor areas, we have played a major part in the development of this interesting market sector. Our understanding of the technology as well as our knowledge of the overall leisure and entertainment space enables us to create a financially sustainable and innovative snow and ice solutions.

Our strengths lie in being able to design, build and operate stand-alone snow or ice installations or those that are integrated into an FEC or other family venue. Our reputation with snow and ice-based facilities ranges from Europe and Asia to the Americas.

Nightclubs

Select Contracts have been involved with the design, fit-out and operation of hundreds of nightclubs over the past 30 years in all corners of the earth. Select can take a project all the way from concept to completion, finding sites, complete design, fit-out and then the operations if required.

Select work with many nightclub brands so can not only develop the entire project for a client but can also bring a brand for the project in question or create a brand if the client wants to roll out a chain of nightclubs under their own banner.

An operational and economical design is essential, this, followed up with a cost effective fit-out and then instigating proper controls for the operation allows Select Contracts to be an essential part of any nightclub development.

Water Parks

Water parks are key component of our entertainment offering, with them either integrated into a larger destination or operating as stand alone venues.

Our expertise in this area has seen us involved with water parks in the Middle East, Asia and now also the Americas. A key strength comes from our desire to create operationally sustainable destinations combined with excellent theming and innovation.

Our experience of the larger entertainment and leisure sectors ensures that the water park will benefit from our in-depth knowledge of global market requirements. By applying an innovative thought process to the component matrix, we can design a water park that is fun, operationally efficient and can deliver a long-term returns.

Bars & Restaurants

Every aspect of a bar and restaurant which the guest experiences, from the menu contents and delivery of the food, to the ambiance and service, is directly reflective of the design, fit out and operations of the establishment. It is crucial to make sure every element of the development is intertwined and connected in such a way that the end result is a successful operation and a happy guest.

Select Contracts have worked on many bars and restaurants throughout the world, as part of a larger development as well as a stand-alone venue.
