Ben Barker - Development Director
Ben is an international hotel and tourism graduate with a vast experience of working in the tourism and leisure industry. Prior to working at Select Contracts Group, Ben held senior positions in product and development management at various tourism, hospitality and leisure companies across the globe, including Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, UK, Dubai and the USA.

His remit is to oversee all of the company's projects from a development perspective to ensure that all client expectations are consistently met. This starts with overseeing the concept and costings through to being on site during the build and fit our process. Ben brings with him first hand experience and contacts in the industry, which he utilises for maximum benefit to the company, projects and clients alike.


Amanda Twidale - Design Manager
Amanda is from the UK and has worked for Select Contracts for the past 12 years and is the main design manager on all Select Contracts projects.

As Amanda has been with the company during 12 years of significant growth, her experience goes into all sectors that the business is involved with, from family entertainment centres through to large hotel resorts. In her team, Amanda has architects, CAD technicians and imagineers to assist with the design aspect on every project.

Amanda graduated with a degree in Illustration from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design and due to this her main skill is in conceptualising new projects and being able to convert plans & thoughts into full 3D hand drawn renderings.

Once projects move to site, Amanda co-ordinates the theming team to ensure that the conceptual design that the client approves gets matched exactly to the reality built on site and also liases between the interior designers & our project team to ensure a high quality of finish.

When away from projects, Amanda is married and has two children, when she gets time to herself she is a keen horse rider and also enjoys Pilates. 


John Fisher – Operations Director
John Fisher provides the detailed structure for overall operations and management. Construction hand-off and opening time-line management is the key to every successful launch. Management recruitment, training, and promoting the company’s vision to successfully launch new facilities are among his responsibilities and experience. His hands-on management style, eye for detail, and coaching skills make him a natural choice for this position.

An honor role graduate in 1981 of Hospitality Management in Toronto and 25 years in the hospitality and gaming industry has earned John a solid reputation in the industry. His worldwide experience supports the operational objectives in opening independent or multi faceted projects. John believes that once a project is ready to launch it is imperative that the right people be in place to operate the business.
